I got in contact with Joe while I was just starting 4th term of my photo program, through my good friend’s boyfriend. I was looking for a guy who was planning on proposing to his girlfriend and I wanted to do a photo assignment on the proposal. Unfortunately, I ended up having to cut it because I had to do another assignment (which got me published in Pacific Rim Magazine) instead. But, I still wanted to make it up to Joe – so we planned an engagement session and they booked me for their wedding as well 🙂 Joe and Mikaela are so great. They wanted to go to Minter Gardens for their engagement shoot, which I had never been before. I always like exploring new places to take photos, so it was pretty awesome!
