I have had such an amazing year and can’t believe that I am officially graduated college! When I got up in the morning and got ready to go to Langara for the ceremony I really had no idea what I was supposed to do when I got there, except go to a room and get my gown. As I waited in line to get my cap and gown I felt a little like I was in la-la-land haha it was like a movie or something. Someone helped me put on a gown and gave me a cap then sent me to get my diploma and within a snap I was looking like a graduate. When I got out of the room there were all my photo buddies! 🙂 We chatted and it kind-of just felt like we were doing another assignment – graduating college, no big deal. The rest of the morning was filled with a bag-pipe player marching us in and out, an inspirational key-note speaker, and all of the graduates of that day going on stage to shake hands with the president of Langara and magically become a graduate! Photos were taken, then lunch, and then back to life. It was short, sweet, and totally surreal – I still don’t feel like it happened…did it happen? Oh ya, it did! I have photos to prove it 😛

Another little something that I wanted to mention was my brothers graduation from high school! Okay it is not that little, it’s pretty huge. Literally, the day after I graduated, Mark graduated. And it also happened to be his birthday! I am so happy for him and am excited to see what the next step in his life will be. He wants to major in history at SFU. Oh, if you don’t know my brother he is probably one of the biggest history buffs you will ever meet – he now has an award to prove it 😛 Needless to say, my parents are very proud having two graduates – they couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces for the whole weekend 🙂 Here are some photos from that day:

Congratulations little brother! 😀
