What a great time I had photographing Chris & Shannon’s Vancouver Island engagement session! The island has been a special place for them throughout their relationship and Shannon’s life, so why not do their engagement photos there? We explored a gorgeous forest, stopped for ice cream and then headed to the beach for sunset! It was a pretty perfect day.
A little history on the couple: Chris met Shannon at the Cove about 7 years ago, he says it was the typical boy meets girl at a bar story. They have since been dating and currently live in Vancouver next to some of their best friends. They really love their place in Kitsilano, so much so that Chris proposed to Shannon in their living room November 2014. Tomorrow is their wedding day and they will be getting married on their porch, so perfect! Chris and Shannon are such a fun couple (it is reflected through their engagement photos) and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day, it’s going to be awesome!!
hahahaShannon loves to count the rings of the trees 🙂
Off to get some ice cream at their favourite ice cream spot; Cone Zone.
Too cute!
After ice cream, we headed to Deep Bay for some more photos!
Couples that read together, stay together 🙂
Golden Eagle sighting! They are apparently quite rare.
I just love the way he looks at her.
Deer sighting, they aren’t so rare 😛
We ended the session with some beautiful pink clouds.
Thanks so much Chris and Shannon for taking me to the island for your engagement session! It was such a fun time! I am SO excited to be photographing your porch wedding tomorrow!! <3
And a big thank you to my lovely boyfriend; Chris, for being my assistant <3
