It has been quite a long time since I blogged an engagement session, but oh how I love them.
Today we have Michelle and Jesse! Their wedding is coming up in June and I am so excited! We did their engagement session at Sendall Gardens in Langley in the fall when all the leaves were turning magnificent shades of red and gold. It was so lovely.
Here is their story: Michelle and Jesse went to the same high school but never really talked to each other. She remembers having a crush on Jesse in grade 8 and him asking her to borrow a pencil in biology class haha that was basically all the association they had together in high school. It wasn’t until a year after graduation that they started seeing each other. Michelle describes their first date like this, “we both felt like we knew each other for a long time. We felt like we were right for each other and it was definitely love at first sight.” Both Michelle and Jesse are very active people and strive to maintain healthy lifestyles. Side note: Michelle is now a nurse! Yay! She just graduated a couple weeks ago.
Jesse proposed to Michelle on her 20th birthday. This is how Michelle describes it: “We went out for dinner at the Keg restaurant talking about our plans, goals, and future. We finished the night walking along White Rock beach (where he asked me to be his girlfriend). He had me sitting on the log along the beach while he set up some candles. I thought he was planning a romantic dessert. He came up and sat beside me, took me by the hand and turned me around. There were tea-light candles lit up saying “Will you marry me?” He got down on one knee and held out the ring. It was the best birthday present!!”
They are seriously such a sweet couple 🙂
SO cute!
They made some wishes in the fountain!
This next photo was Jesse’s idea:
