We had a very large Architecture assignment for school and it took up a lot of my time, but I am pleased with the results and thought I would share 2 parts of the 5 part assignment with you! 🙂

I chose Richmond Christian Secondary School as my building. It is a new addition to the school and I was part of the first class (Grad Class of 2009) to graduate from the new building. Here is a panorama of the school:

I did the next shot with a 4×5 camera and colour transparency film. I woke up bright and early, actually dark and early haha to get this shot. Before sunrise, a fellow student Amanda Seibert and I made our ways to RCS and set up a 4×5 camera in our pjs and warm jackets 🙂

We set up, took a shot, then sipped on our Tim Horton’s coffee and waited for the sun to come up, just after it had we took this shot. I used a neutral density filter on this particular shot to get the clouds to look the way they are and it turned out pretty awesome.

With just a little tweaking in Photoshop CS5 I achieved this result:
