Zion Adventure Couples Session

After having our beautiful forest wedding reception in Hobble Creek Canyon, Utah we wanted our friends to experience as much of Utah as possible that weekend. So, we had booked two big Airbnb’s in Hurricane, Utah (near Zion National Park) for us all. We drove 3 hours down to the red rocks and sunshine the following day and had a blast!

On our last morning Gavin and I met up with our amazing photographer; Colby and did a sunrise adventure session with him!

We hiked up in the dark and the sky was full of stars. It wasn’t a long hike and it was fun! We changed into our wedding clothes at the top and got in position for the sun to make it’s appearance. It was a little bit windy up there, but it was absolutely incredible! We are so thankful for that time.

We wanted to have our adventure session here near Angel’s Landing as the day Gavin and I hiked Angel’s Landing in 2019 was also the first time we said “I love you” to each other, awwww I know haha.

We were blown away by these shots!! They are everything we had hoped for. But, clearly sunrise sessions make me a little forgetful because I forgot to bring my bouquet and nice shoes (if you didn’t notice the bare feet yet haha it’s a look). So, Colby graciously offered to take a few more photos of me and my bouquet.

Thank you Colby for making our Zion adventure couples session a dream come true! We couldn’t be happier with the images. I can’t wait to go back and photograph other couples here in Utah soon!! The state really has so much diversity in its landscape and I am looking forward to creating magic in all these places! While it is somewhat scary starting over somewhere new, I know I am where I am meant to be.
